Banner Making Workshop, Coniston
   
Held at the John Ruskin School, Lake Road Coniston over two days in October 2004. The workshop included 16 students from a mix of classes (ranging from year 7 to year 11) and mixed abilities. The class was split into 3 groups and worked as teams to produce a composite image based on the Cumbrian mountains with the initial theme of 'Inspiration or Obstacle' to consider.
John Dugger, a renown international banner maker facilitated the workshop and provided in-depth training on all stages of banner production. The students completed the banners within the two days, all the work was their own.
