Since taking up photography in 1986 forests and trees have been a constant source of inspiration for me. Initially I began working at Alderley Edge and I have returned to work there ever since. I have also photographed extensively at Macclesfield, Grizedale and Whinlatter forests and many Lakeland locations. Recently I have also begun to experiment in other media e.g. painting, drawing, mosaics, glass and slate engraving and mixed media to produce images on the same theme.
